When designing the front entrance of a
commercial building or of a house an eye
catching choice is to provide a vaulted ceiling
as opposed to a flat ceiling or a dome.
A vault is architectural and decorative
providing a spherical elongated ceiling that
gives an heir of elegance and space while
visually appealing. Decorate this with a light
cove on both sides for perimeter lighting
shooting the light up and around the vault and
you have a dream ceiling.
Vaults are used regularly in Opera houses,
Banquet Halls and large homes with expansive
